The Asian-American Playwright Collective is a group of Boston-based playwrights who have banded together to nurture, develop, and promote new work by Asian-American playwrights in the Boston area.

The focus and mission of From the Couch Theatre is to allow Creativity, Productivity, and Originality to flow from the place we all know: the Couch. As artists it is our responsibility to adjust and flow with the changing world , as well as reflect and amplify the current state of life. Our office enhances the quality of life, the economy, and the design of the City through the arts. The role of the arts in all aspects of life in Boston is reinforced via equitable access to arts and culture in every community, its public institutions, and public places. Key areas of work include support to the cultural sector through grants and programs, as well as the production and permitting of art in public places.

The Writers' Room of Boston is an urban writers' retreat committed to providing a quiet, affordable, and secure workspace for emerging and established writers. Est 1988. $100/month membership fee. We are committed to supporting local writers of limited means through our annual Writers Fellowship Program, which gives four juried writers full access to the workspace for one year.
