Founded in 2010, Harlem9 is a collaborative producing organization, comprised of a group Black theatre professionals from various backgrounds. Our mission is to produce together, exploring the past, present and future of black culture, celebrating its rich and diverse history of storytelling.

Liberation Theatre Company is a home for creative emerging black playwrights, providing resources to develop their work, nurturing and inviting them to express themselves in a supportive and focused environment. LTC brings together actors, directors, and playwrights to allow playwrights the room to learn and grow, culminating in their finest work, ready for production.

The DREAMing Out Loud Program at PEN America is a paid, tuition-free creative writing workshop series for young immigrant writers primarily those who are undocumented, DACA recipients, and/or DREAMers who came to the U.S. when they were children. By providing community and professional support to the next generation of immigrant writers, the program seeks to counter anti-immigrant sentiment in the U.S. and to amplify the voices of many living in this country who are marginalized because of their immigration status.
