Ybarra, who replaces Kwame Kwei-Armah, comes to Baltimore from the Public Theater in New York, where she has served as Director of Special Artistic Projects, overseeing the theatre’s Mobile Unit and Public Forum programs. She began her transition to Center Stage in October and joins the staff full-time in December.
