What is a favorite memory from this season?

Easy. Just being in a theatre again. Not only opening my show but seeing other writers’ shows. Bliss.

What is a great bit of advice about playwriting you’ve given or received?

There’s no such thing as a great writer, only a great rewriter.

What’s next?

What’s New, Pussycat? a comic, musical riff on Henry Fielding’s novel Tom Jones and the music of Sir Tom Jones. It’s all set to open in the West End as soon as a theatre becomes available.
