What is a favorite memory from this season?

I hope it isn’t déclassé to cite my own play, Good Night, Oscar.  And I further hope it isn’t anticlimactic to choose a moment that didn’t occur onstage at all but happened instead in a humble rehearsal hall high over Times Square. In the play, Sean Hayes portrayed famed pianist and scabrous wit Oscar Levant. We’d been rehearsing for a couple of weeks, and we reached the critical moment in the play when it came time for Oscar to play Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” on the piano.
