Diana Burbano: I had a play development opp yesterday with a bunch of people that I love, and it was like they ripped my heart out of my chest and threw it on the floor and then jumped up and down on it a little bit, so I just want to put that on the table. I'm really raw about the whole playwriting thing, but I think that's okay because that's what we want to talk about, right? It's such a big topic. What was this year like for you? Jennie?

Thelma de Castro

is a San Diego Dramatists Guild Co-Ambassador, teaching artist, dramaturg, community builder, and founder of San Diego Playwrights. She is also a Filipinx dramatist whose plays explore identity and belonging. 

Luis Alfaro

is a Chicano writer/performer known for his work in poetry, theatre, short stories, performance and journalism. Also a producer/director who spent ten years at the Mark Taper Forum as Associate Producer, Director of New Play Development and co-director of the Latino Theatre Initiative.
