The entire DFW theatre community still deeply feels the loss of Katherine Owens, Undermain Theatre’s Founding Artistic Director, who passed away after a very brief illness in 2019. There is no better tribute to this visionary artist than Lenora Champagne’s Feeding On Light. Based on her longstanding friendship with Owens and their many discussions about the work of French philosopher and activist Simone Weil, the play was first developed at Undermain’s 2021 new works festival and received its world premiere in November of 2022.
