Jay Alan Zimmerman, aka “Broadway’s Beethoven,” is a composer, author, performer, inventor, speaker, installation artist and accessibility advocate. He created and starred in the musicals BRAIN. STORM. (commissioned and produced by Prospect Theater Company) and the award-winning INCREDIBLY DEAF MUSICAL (Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater and Duke on 42nd Street); wrote the play COMFORT PET for a cast of Disabled actors (Fault Line Theater); debuted ROBOTICUS with a collective of musical robots at Spotify; developed the SEEING MUSIC VISUALIZERS with Google Creative Labs; and has a patent pending on hearing visualization. Visual music installations include WINDOW MUSIC at the NY Academy of Medicine and ART/SONG at chashama Times Square. His NAUGHTY & NICE HOLIDAY SONGBOOK was developed through over a decade of annual debuts at Lincoln Center and is now available on Amazon.
