Marj O'Neill-Butler
Marj O’Neill-Butler is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Playwright’s Center and the International Centre for Women Playwrights. Her work has been seen in 26 states, Canada, Great Britain and Seoul, S Korea. Produced Plays: True Blue, There's New Life Coming, Finding Help, Cleaning House, Stalking, Mama’s Things, Julia Tuttle: The Mother of Miami, Being Ferried, Taking Things in Hand, Looking for Seasonal Work, Into The City, Important Date, Gwen Has A Date, Pickup, Portland, Portable Diners, It’s All in the Eye, They Called It Teasing, Special Delivery, Flight Fright, Leaving Home, What If?, It’s A Question of Money, Scavenger Hunt, Swamp Girl, Missed Connections and a reader’s theatre script The Women of the Beat Generation. She has studied playwriting with Leslie Ayvazian, Carlos Murillo and Christian Parker through the Playwright Development Program and attended the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive in DC in 2010, 2011, 2016 and 2019. A published playwright, she has had 26 different plays produced in multiple theatres, numerous readings and just about as many rejections
