While the theatre industry continues spinning to keep up with COVID-19 protocols and variants, and constantly adapting to keep shows running safely, some members in our region have persevered to ensure that new plays are being seen, even though the pandemic has lingered longer than anyone originally anticipated. From a tenth anniversary festival that took a new approach, to a brand-new reading series, to a first-time play commission from a museum, there is ample innovation and vision creating theatre despite great uncertainty.
