New England – West’s first in-person event since February 2020 took place on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. An intimate group of New England – West dramatists gathered for a panel discussion “Back on Broadway,” moderated by Chris Jones, director of the O’Neill’s National Critics Institute and the chief theatre critic and Sunday culture columnist of the Chicago Tribune.
