New York State’s complex narrative in the time of COVID has been one of resilience, innovation, and creativity, as well as uncertainty, disappointment, and frustration. In the past year, most members’ live productions, in-person readings or workshops, and festivals were cancelled, rescheduled, or subsequently moved to an online/Zoom format.
