I had the extreme good fortune of meeting the late, great, utterly idiosyncratic playwright Doric Wilson (Street Theater, Now She Dances) a number of years ago. At the time, though I considered myself a well-read student of American theatre, I was woefully ignorant of Doric and his place in the gay theatre movement.
