Christine Toy Johnson: Why I Joined the Guild
Here in Minneapolis & St. Paul, we know a thing or two about long, cold winters. We’re usually ready to shed our protective outer layers and walk around in shorts and flip-flops as soon as the thermostat hits 40 degrees, but as theatres bravely emerged from the long hibernation of the last few years, it seemed like we were all a little tentative, with good reason. Some productions returned to in-person performances without a hitch, and others faced postponements or cancellations, and it all seemed to be a matter of timing.
