We all know the vision, the creativity and boldness, the perseverance and time required to stage a world premiere production. That’s why it’s astonishing and exhilarating to see the number of new plays performed this past year. While we wish to recognize the efforts of all those “putting it together,” here are four productions and the presenting theatres that deserve special acknowledgement.
