Her plays have been produced and developed at, Rattlestick Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Page 73, Women's Project; City Theater Co. Pittsburgh; The Goodman Theater; Pillsbury House Theater; Mixed Blood; Ensemble Studio Theater, and more. She has won the American Theater Critics Osborn Award for Best New Play, was runner up for The Horton Foote Prize; is a two time Theodore Ward Prize. Cori is a New Dramatists Resident; O'Neill National Playwriting Conference Fellow; 2 time Sundance Theater Lab Fellow; MacDowell Colony; Bogliasco Foundation; Baryshnikov Arts Center; Lifetime member of Ensemble Studio Theater; Edgerton Foundation Prize; and more. She is presently contracted to write an original screenplay about Nelson Mandela for HBO Films and Tribeca Productions, and has developed a TV series with JuVee Productions, a Podcast series with AUDIBLE, and more.

Cori founded The Pa's Hat Foundation a 501c(3) in 2012. Pa's Hat is an organization focues on helping former child soldiers and other marginalized citiznes of Liberia, West Africa with educational and work related assistance. Cori is an ongoing volunteer at San Quentin State Prison. She is on the Board of Directors of New Dramatists, Pa's Hat Foundation, and No More TearsSQ.
