Submit a Reading, Live Stream, Live Production, Dramatists Diary Listing or Ticket Offer
The Dramatists Diary has been a continuous member service since 1964. It is a record of member achievements and is printed in six issues of The Dramatist magazine each year.
Most Diary listings are self-reported and are usually printed within three to four months from the reporting date. These are listings of past achievements only and do not function as advertisements for upcoming events.
If the listing you report is older than twelve months, it will not be accepted or printed in The Dramatist.
Ticket Offers
Once you complete the form, we will display your offer. We'll also share information about your live stream in our weekly newsletter. At this time, we do not send individual emails to our members with specific offers or specific invitations to live stream events.
Live Stream Readings or Productions
We will post your information with no expectation of a discount to Guild members.
Live Event Ticket Offers
The Dramatists Guild will only share discounts or free ticket offers for in person events that represent a 35% or greater reduction off the retail ticket price. We will, however, post offers to free readings, showcases or workshops.
Submit a Resource Directory Listing
For more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one. To submit or update your listing please use the link below.
Propose an Article for The Dramatist
All article submissions and/or pitches to The Dramatist are subject to peer review by our Publications Committee. The committee typically prefers articles that offer something they feel is of interest to the general membership and that include more than one point of view. Priority is given to all current Guild members in good standing.
Submit a Tribute
In keeping with our current Tribute Issue (featuring tributes to Maria Irene Fornes, Neil Simon, Maya Angelou, Richard Rodgers, Ntozake Shange, Michel Legrand, Carol Hall, William Goldman, Michael Friedman, The Drama Book Shop, and Samuel French Hollywood Bookshop), we're compiling an ever-growing archive of some notable tributes originally published in The Dramatist or The Dramatists Guild Quarterly. Check back here as this page continues to develop. If you're a Guild member and would like to submit a tribute, please see the form below.
